I love data! There are so many amazing things you can do and accomplish with it, so many fantastic ways you can present and interpret it, it’s incredible.

Visualisations are one of many ways you can make over your data, but are one of the best. They reveal secrets and new insights, tell stories, and might even lead you to treasure! Also, if you’re clever enough, you can make it them move.

Reflecting on the rollercoaster that was 2020, it’s been interesting to see it mapped out in data based on the Google trends of the year! They’ve put it together as categorised lists or as an interactive Year in Search 2020 journey. Get on it!

If you want a bit of comfort after that, there’s also this very cute visualisation on cat and/or dog related search questions. We can finally discover the answer to the age old question: “why do dogs like cuddles?” (because it makes them feel good, that’s why!)
